At Renew IT Direct, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. All of our refurbished electronics are carefully inspected, tested, and verified for performance before shipping. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please review our return and exchange policy below.
1. Refund Policy (Within 14 Days)
We offer a 14-day return window from the date your item is delivered.
- To qualify for a refund, your item must be in the same condition as received — including all original accessories, components, and packaging.
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method once the item is received and inspected.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived defective or damaged.
⚠️ Note: Items returned with missing parts, damaged seals, or signs of misuse may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% or denial of refund.
2. Exchange Policy (15–30 Days)
After 14 days and up to 30 days from delivery, you may request an exchange for the same or similar refurbished unit if your product develops a functional issue covered under our limited warranty.
- Exchanges are available for defective or malfunctioning units only.
- Replacement units may be of equal or greater value, depending on availability.
- Customers must return the original item before an exchange is shipped.
- You will receive confirmation once the replacement has been tested and shipped.
3. Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange
To maintain quality control and fairness to all customers, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for:
- Products showing physical damage, misuse, or unauthorized modification
- Items missing serial numbers, stickers, or warranty seals
- Software, activation codes, or digital licenses
- Custom-built PCs or products marked “Final Sale”
4. Warranty on Refurbished Products
All Renew IT Direct refurbished products include a 30-day limited warranty covering hardware defects not caused by user damage or improper handling.
- This warranty does not cover accidental damage, power surges, or software issues.
- Extended warranty options may be available on select products.
5. Return Process
To start a return or exchange:
- Email us at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return.
- Our support team will respond within 1–2 business days with return authorization and instructions.
- Carefully package the item using its original materials (if possible) to prevent shipping damage.
- Once received and inspected, we’ll process your refund or exchange within 3–5 business days.
6. Shipping Responsibility
- If the return is due to an error on our part (wrong item, DOA, etc.), we will cover shipping costs.
- For all other returns, customers are responsible for return shipping fees.
- We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method for your protection.
7. Restocking Fee
A restocking fee (up to 15%) may apply if items are returned missing components, in non-original condition, or outside of the approved time frame.
